Congratulations to our RIYC White Sails Cruiser team of Joan Sheffield (Just Jasmin), Katherine Sheehan (Great Escape) and Catherine Day (Shearwater) on winning the Roy Family Perpetual Trophy for the best team performance at the Women At The Helm (WATH) 2024 regatta held at Dun Laoghaire last weekend.
Congratulations also to RIYC’s Tracey Carey competing on the J109 Riders on the Storm which won overall in the cruisers’ spinnaker division.

Well done to all the RIYC helms and crew for competing with such distinction across the two day regatta.
A total of 41 boats took part in the WATH, comprising 28 keelboats and 13 dinghies, representing the Dun Laoghaire Waterfront Clubs, Poolbeg YC, Mayo SC and West Kirby SC. A further 22 Water Wags were deferred from 22nd May due to strong winds will now race next Wednesday, 29th May.
