RIYC SEAZE THE BAY JUNIOR REGATTA
We had our annual junior regatta on Wednesday 23rd July, where we saw over 115 sailors out on the water!
The regatta was sponsored by SeaZe The Bay who we can’t thank enough especially as they provided amazing goodie bags for each competitor and provided the parents with trips out on the water!
The main fleet got 2 races due to shifty wind which caused race 3 to be abandoned.
The Harbour fleet completed 3 races.
Altogether it was an amazing day, with competitors from the National YC, Royal St George, DMYC and of course our RIYC Juniors.
Shore-side there was a lovely barbecure, followed a visit from Teddy's Ice cream van, which went down a treat!
Congratulations to everyone and a huge thank you to all; Volunteers, Race Officers, Staff and Parents and our incredible Instructors that helped make this such an enjoyable day!
